Listed below are details of performances and activity on Hanbury Field (or Hanbury Arms if raining) and at the Hanbury Quay. Over on the right of this page, are web links to many of our performers, particpants and artists - so that you can find out more about their work. And keep popping back to check for updates as activities on each of the days maybe subject to change.

    Liz is the musical genius of the group, a life long passion for music and more recently mixing her own folk songs with African rhythms. The African drumming group has been playing for over eight years and the joining of the two has lead to the birth of "Afro Welsh Connections" ever evolving, the group now has its latest member, Sed, bringing a new dimension with his brilliant bass lines and bubbly personality.

    6.00 to 7.00pm (at the Hanbury Arms) Fastest To Canada. Folk Rock Band from Bristol

    Fastest To Canada

    Fastest To Canada provide an eclectic roots sound drawing on original, contempory and traditional music. The band have two very strong lead singers in Jacqui Haigh and Andy Collins (who also play acoustic guitars), Andy Marr (sax, flute, whistles and vocals) and John Sweet (electric guitar) provide the highly inventive twiddly bits and the whole thing is underpinned by the rock solid playing of Richard Ireland (Bass and vovals) and Mo Morgan (drums).

    Area51

    Area 51 consist of Stefan Senese on Bass Guitar, John Kehoe on Drums, Sam Bird on Lead/Rhythm Guitar and Joe Bird on Lead/Rhythm Guitar - vocals spouted by all! The band’s main influences are without a doubt: AC/DC, Santana and Guns n' Roses. Others include Bon Jovi, Kaiser Chiefs, Green Day, Star Sailor, Thin Lizzy, Rolling Stones, Hendrix, U2, Dire Straits, Beatles, and many more besides. Come and listen to some great Covers!

    5.00 to 6.00pm AUCTION OF SCULPTURE - on stage

    Blues Central

    Blues Central are a four Piece, punchy, textured and entertaining outfit. They are a bunch of ‘veterans’ from South Wales who share a love of Blues/Funk and Soul. Formed in 2003 and fronted by Peter Hughes on Guitar and Vocals, they bring a welcome consistency to the live gig with a definite appreciation and feel for the music which consists of cuts by T-Bone Walker, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Steve Cropper, Eric Clapton and Jess Roden to name just a few. With Peter, on Drums is Graeme Jones; Bass Guitar - Andy Gibbon and Andy Berry on Guitar and Tin Sandwich!

    Followed By Stephen Light & Scott Baker - Alternative Country/Folk Blues
