CAERLEON ARTS FESTIVAL 10th to 19th July 2009

EXHIBITORS AND TRADERS PAGE

28th January 2009

A message from Maggie Corke, Exhibitor Coordinator

I am writing to invite you to take part in this year’s Caerleon Arts Festival.  Over the past six years the festival has developed from its origin as a Sculpture Symposium into a broad spectrum arts event incorporating visual arts, music, drama, dance, poetry, film and more.   If you have been before you will know what a popular, enjoyable and friendly event it is.

This year’s festival will follow last year’s format (although we hope not last year’s weather!).  A week of evening events will culminate in a weekend of activities on the field with plenty to do and see for all ages.  The sculptors will be working on the field from Thursday through to Sunday, creating sculptures on this year’s quirky theme of ‘Sheep’.  As usual, entry is free to the public.

Artists and craftspeople are invited to take space to exhibit and sell their work during the weekend of 18th and 19th July.  As usual we are offering spaces under cover or outside.   Our marquees measure 6 metres x 4 metres and there will be three exhibitors per marquee.  We also have mini marquees for groups and individuals who wish to have a whole one to themselves.

This year we are offering everyone who takes space at the weekend a free stall at our evening events throughout the Festival week, subject to space being available. Exhibitor information is listed further down this page and an application form is available here pdf icon. You will require Adobe Acrobat Reader to access the file and you will find a link in the sidebar.

I do hope you will join us this year.  If you have any queries or would like more information, please feel free to contact me by email here.

With best wishes,
