Elizabeth, who lives in Cardiff, has a Joint Honours BA in Fine Art and English from University College of Wales, Aberystwyth. She has also completed a three-year advanced training scheme in calligraphy run by the Society of Scribes and Illuminators.

Recent work has concentrated on texture and colour and she has developed an interest in making her own paper. She is drawn to words and quotations which evoke the transience of life and she is constantly looking for ways to combine colour, texture and image with the written word.
