Yildiz Guner, Turkey

Yildiz, born in Istanbul in 1972, has degrees in sculpture and has explored toy and mask making. She has been teaching wood sculpture at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University since 2000. She has taken part in numerous exhibitions and symposia in Turkey, Greece, Switzerland, Finland, and China.

A model of one of her proposals for Caerleon is shown above. She describes it as a dragon or sea monster, having a river-like movement. Right: examples of previous work.
