Graduate of Gloucestershire College of Art and Royal College of Art. Lecturer in Dept of Graphic Design at Newport College of Art until 1995 when he resumed full-time painting. Terry acknowledges influences ranging from science fiction to the paintings of Caspar David Friedrich and sees himself increasingly as a Romantic painter of symbolic or allegorical landscapes. He
has had a number of one-man exhibitions, has work in many private and
public collections and has carried out various commissions. |
