Alison Ludlow graduated from Newport College of Art in 1989. She specialises in figurative painting and drawing, from small still-lifes to large murals. Her subjects are mainly taken from life, and include aspects of Newport, her home, surroundings and family.

She has undertaken a range of commissions and has painted murals in local primary schools and private homes.

Alison also teaches painting and drawing to adult classes in venues around Newport.
