Jiri Netik - Czech Republic



Jiri was born at Brno in 1953.
He studied chemistry, then became a professional musician before studying with a restorer of medieval carvings in Brno. Since 1988
he has been a freelance
sculptor, carver and restorer, and a teacher of carving and sculpture. He has exhibited widely in Europe and Scandinavia. He is coming to Caerleon with his sculptor wife Martina - who took part in the 2005 Caerleon symposium - and their two sons.
