Dear Chums,
Well done to everyone who turned out for the Big Dig.
On the 15th January, The Charles Williams, Lodge Hill and Caeleon Comprehensive Schools together with Seren Fach nursery took to the field en masse and planted saplings with great enthusiasm.
On the following day was the turn of festival members and community volunteers young and old to complete the job. By 12 noon it was all done.
We now have hundreds of saplings in place and a hedgerow in prospect.
