East Pointers @ the Bell Inn with Morfa

event_pointers1

Last night a good crowd gathered at the Bell Inn and, as one, thought just how lucky can one village in Wales be?

They were in awe of Morfa, the young and vibrant band with driving fiddles and clog dancing champions. The visiting band East Pointers, from Prince Edward island, Canada watched enthralled, and suitably lifted went on to play a blinding set showing that across the world, traditional folk music is alive and kicking. It was appreciated that Caerleon got to see them before Womad…a great night. Many thanks given to the boys at the Bell for their support of the Festival throughout the year.
