Giving a performance in Llanhennock Village Hall, John Watterson took an enthusiastic audience on a nostalgic journey through the wonderful, gritty and perceptive songs and poetry of the well remembered, folk singer and raconteur, Jake Thakeray, loved still by all his followers.
John, being the talented singer he is was able to catch the very essence of the great man. Together with his humour, his ability to see the amusing side of life and gift of telling a story.
John truly delighted the audience.
Even Sister Josephine made an appearance, hairy hands and all. A most enjoyable evening.
