Helping Hands – we are in need of you

Saturday 15th July and Sunday 16th July THE BIG FREE Day Time

The Caerleon Festival needs your help – are you a bucket shaker, a seller of raffle tickets, a tombola bod who can help on that stall, a quiet minder of exhibitions, a ‘gofer’, good at turning a hand where it may be wanted, a photographer – any of these things? We need you just for an hour or two……..where? Either on:

  • Field – near the Main entrance and probably near the ever-popular Tombola, or rear entrance to cycle path – meeting and greeting.

or

  • Hanbury Quay where some of the BIG FREE musical events are taking place

or

  • Bell Inn – again a musical venue and all good fun.

If you know of anyone who would like to help do let us know or anyone else who you just know would like to join in the fun – contact [email protected] for details.

We’d love to hear from you

I hadn’t heard of your festival, until you turned up on the Keith Christmas website. My partner and I are keen Dartmouth fans, where we visit just as punters; however I am aware that festivals are a lot more fun depending on how involved you are in them, and I have had an eye out for a festival to volunteer at for an hour or so. I know its very near the event, but let me know if you need a hand or would like to meet up to chat about next year.
My partner and I volunteer regularly at Bristol Harbourside sailing school. Historically I was employed at Glastonbury and WOMAD, but managed to pop out of the side of the grain shoot as the corporate combine took over each of them.
Apparantly I’m aged 61, although I’m not convinced. Thanks for getting Keith Christmas to play. Roland

Hello Roland – we appreciate offers of help and can always do with an extra pair of hands. The immediate Call for Arms is for this coming Thursday sent out today by Tim Davidson Chair of Caerleon Festival so either email [email protected] or Tel: 01633 430194 and introduce yourself and see what help is needed.

Bit confused regarding your reference to Dartmouth. I am sure you are aware that Caerleon is in South Wales 3 miles from the city of Newport
