Week 1 GATEWAY PROJECT – FESTIVAL FIELD

Expensive Topsoil spread on Sat 5th May

The spreading of topsoil was carried out by a willing team of supporters after eight bulk bags had arrived and strategically placed around the field. The weather proved to be fine and the Field Team worked hard and fast with a transformation immediately visible. The work was done in record time.

Week 2 GATEWAY PROJECT – FESTIVAL FIELD

Even more expensive Wildflower Earth spreading on Sat 12th

The second weekend found eight more bulk bags arriving, filled with the magic Wildflower Earth, and this required spreading.

Again on yet another fine morning a much increased Field Team turned up to carry out the procedure of spreading and treading the soil across the prepared areas of the new, soon to become Wildflower Meadow. All done in half the time allotted. With rain arriving that evening all is looking good to go…..

“COME – WE NEED YOU!” was the plea and they came!
