WE GIVE A BELATED THANKS to all those who turned up on the Monday morning after the Festival to clear the Field.
The weather was perfect, and with the Festival crew’s years of experience showing, the whole area was completely cleared in record time.
Again many thanks to all who worked so hard!
It is noticeable that a small part of the meadow remains unmown.
This is intentional; the mowing crew didn’t run out of petrol or
energy. They wanted to let part of the meadow grow through to seeding, and
then cut it.
This will be done in a few weeks time, and an alert will be given so that those who didn’t get a chance to use our Power Scythe before (or maybe just want another go) will get a chance.
