Walking through Caerleon in the 1960’s & 1970’s

A FREE EVENT

FROM the Community Hub, Kent Court, Caerleon, NP18 3FG – on SATURDAY 9th NOVEMBER
at 10am there will be a Talk & Performance event, followed by a walk through Caerleon, finishing at 1pm.

Like lots of places, Caerleon has many residents aged 65+. We go behind the statistics to discover how people grew up and reached adulthood during the 1960s & 1970s.

We invite you to join us. We use performance and personal accounts to create a feel for how Caerleon was shaped in past decades.

Between 10am-11am there will a talk and performance with artist Marega Palser at the Community Hub. At 11am join us on a gentle walk to finish at 12pm on the Caerleon Common. Then a short walk or public transport to return for refreshments and WC at Village Services Community Hub.
