Expectations of Sarah McQuaid were high – she exceeded them. Singer, songwriter and musician – a consummate performer whose rapport with the audience demonstrated insight, empathy and humour. A programme of variety and scope with pleasant surprises.
Her soulful voice was captivating and her guitar-play subtle. A superb evening.
During her current tour (September/October U.S.A.; November U.K.) this was Sarah’s only performance in Wales. It was unmissable.
We intend inviting her back. Catch her next time.
I enjoyed the concert. Thanks to Caerleon Art Festival committee for organising it.
I hope she can be persuaded to return for the festival in 2020.
We should also work on getting a bigger audience for this very professional musician.
